'Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced' Official Reveal Coming
Ubisoft has already set the placeholder on its YouTube and Twitch channels which reveals that the company will host an official reveal event for the much-awaited "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag" remake.
According to the placeholders, the event will take place this Thursday, April 23, at 12 p.m. Eastern Time and will talk about the upcoming game remake for modern platforms.
The company has also revealed this remake's title to be "Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced" in the 2026 roadmap of the "Assassin's Creed" franchise. The company only shared an image, which confirmed the game, but it effectively shut down the rumors and speculations involving the title.
That said, Ubisoft only shared a promotional key art of the game, which depicted its lead character, Edward Kenway, standing atop the ship's mast. According to Engadget, the upcoming livestream is expected to finally include a trailer that will answer the many questions fans have had all these years.
What to Expect From Ubisoft's Reveal Event?
Ubisoft may finally give information regarding one of the bigger questions surrounding "Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced," which is the project's scope.
According to earlier rumors, the game will feature a full, top-to-bottom remake, which will make the title fit modern gaming platforms.
However, there were also speculations stating that the game would cut out all modern-day gameplay segments and deliver this new "Black Flag" to be entirely set on the Animus, featuring Kenway's pirate saga.
Beyond "Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced," the livestream could also touch on the next mainline entry in the franchise, currently developing under the working title "Codename HEXE."
Ubisoft has described it as a darker, narrative-driven "Assassin's Creed" experience, though little else has been shared about it publicly.
