From February 13–15, London's Excel Convention Centre will host the Pokémon Europe International Championships (EUIC), drawing top players and fans from across Europe. This three-day extravaganza features elite competitions in the "Pokémon Trading Card Game" (TCG), "Pokémon Scarlet and Violet," "Pokémon Unite," and "Pokémon GO," making it one of the most prestigious stops on the competitive Pokémon circuit.
Up to this day, it is not surprising that Charizard, or rather, Mega Charizard X, is the main highlight of the tournaments.
Mega Charizard X Dominates EUIC Spotlight
According to Wargamer, Charizard returns as the tournament's mascot, now in its striking Mega Charizard X form. This updated version sports a black-and-blue palette, replacing the classic orange, giving the iconic Pokémon a more fierce, battle-ready appearance.
The design perfectly matches the intensity of EUIC, and without any doubt, it's becoming one of the most popular in " Pokémon TCG." Some fans speculate that it's The Pokémon Company's favorite Pokémon besides Pikachu.
Exclusive Charizard Merchandise for Attendees
Registered participants will receive a goodie bag filled with Charizard-themed items, including:
- Charizard baseball cap
- Custom card sleeves and deck box
- Collectible Charizard pin
- Tournament lanyard featuring multiple Pokémon
Interestingly, the included Ultra Ball promo card does not feature Charizard, providing a rare twist for collectors and fans.
High-Stakes Rewards for Top Players
The competition offers premium rewards for top competitors. The EUIC champion will earn an exclusive playmat showcasing a flame-spewing Pokémon in battle, again highlighting Charizard.
Players who reach the Top 8 will also receive commemorative mats, ensuring the tournament's fiery theme extends to all top-level participants.
